The company and winery Navarro López has been awarded a gold and a silver medal by Taiwanese Newspaper for its wines Don Aurelio Tempranillo 2020 (Gold) and Don Aurelio Verdejo 2020 (silver), which has meant not only a recognition to the penetration of Spanish wine in an increasingly specialized market, but also to the D.O. Valdepeñas.
Don Aurelio Tempranillo 2020 has been recognized with Gold at the Taiwan Awards 2021 thanks to its versatility in pairing with meats and cheeses and its pleasant balance in the mouth. Don Aurelio Verdejo 2020 has been awarded Silver for its tropical and floral notes on the palate as well as its pairing with fish, rice and cheeses.
Taiwanese Newspaper is a renowned magazine focused on the gourmet segment (food and wine) in Taiwan, and organizes for the first time its edition of the Taiwan Awards 2021 with a recognized jury from Taiwan, Hong Kong and the rest of Asia for its links with the wine industry, horeca channel and fine dining.
