Premium 1904 Tempranillo Syrah and Viña Trebolar, from Navarro López, awarded two gold medals by the Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago

The quality of the wines of Bodegas Navarro López – Premium 1904 Tempranillo Syrah 2019 (Vino de la tierra de Castilla) and its signature wine Viña Trebolar 2018 – has been recognized and awarded Gold medals (90 and 91 points respectively) by the Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago, made up of an extensive group of experts from around the world.

Vino de la Tierra de Castilla Premium 1904 Tempranillo Syrah vintage 2019 has been awarded the Gold Medal with a Best Buy excellence score of 90 out of 100 by the prestigious Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago. By obtaining this score, it adds awards obtained in other international awards such as Mundus Vino, Gilbert & Gallard or the Austrian Wine Challenge Vienna. With an attractive cherry red color, clean and bright, it stands out for its intense aroma of red fruits, ripe cherries and violets over notes of wood that provide light touches of toast; tasty in the mouth, powerful with a long and pleasant passage with a slight astringency of ripe tannin, balancing its alcohol content and acidity. Viña Trebolar, the signature wine of Navarro López, obtains the Gold Medal with a score of excellence of 91 out of 100, an award that represents its first international prize after a careful harvest in which the grapes are harvested at their optimum ripeness in the vineyards of the winery, in Castilla La Mancha, achieving an outstanding wine in aroma, flavor and texture assembling four grape varieties: cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah and tempranillo.
